In Episode 56, Rodney Smith shares how his life has consisted of going against the norms. He talks about following your passion in spite of what others might say and so much more!
After graduating from college with a BA in Broadcast Communications Rodney had dreams of being an on-air personality and had his eyes set on a future gig as a morning show host for country music radio. He first completed two radio institute programs in Boston and Kentucky, run by the nation’s top radio professionals. He earned a radio marketing license through each program. Rodney strives to bring a new style to country radio and break the stereotypes in the world. With a very good eye for fashion, he takes pride in his style and always dresses to impress. He recently did his first Red Carpet interviews for the CMA awards show. He has a podcast called Making Sense of Adulting and is working on projects with Netflix.
I am sure you will enjoy this convo with Rodney as much as I did. I think it’s pretty cool to see how he is constantly swimming against the current of normalcy and breaking stereotypes…not just because he has something to prove, but because God had created that path for him.
